Enjoyed in classrooms all over the country or just by anybody who wants pocket-sized editions of their favorite poets, the S4N Pocket Poems are easily the most popular books I have ever released. They are all $3.99 at Amazon, and I am happy to announce two new books in the series:

Edgar Allan Poe and William Cullen Bryant were contemporaries, but for the last century Bryant has largely been forgotten, while Poe has never been out of print. I hope that anybody who loves Poe will grab a copy his poems, and that anybody interested in America’s first great poet will grab the Byrant volume. It is the first selected poems of Bryant’s to appear in decades and was a true labor of love to choose and put together. For me, his best poetry is now right up there with Whitman and Wordsworth.
