6 New Poems

Many thanks to Chris Murray, editor at Poethead, for featuring six of my poems here.

They include four poems from Orkney:

Skara Brae
Horses on Orkney
Bone, Antler, Stone – Museum Pieces
Cuween Chambered Cairn – (where the author photo comes from)

And two other personal favorites I’ve been looking forward to seeing published:

Robert Oppenheimer
Daedalus and Icarus

  1. smashing stuff Tim. glad to see Oppenheimer there, a poem as puissant as what he wrangled out of an atom. Chris never ceases to astound me with her poetic sense for quality work. makes me proud to have been published on her blog, even more so now.

Thanks Daniel. I’m also especially pleased that Oppie finally found a home. & of course it was you being featured at Poethead that pointed the way for me: https://poethead.wordpress.com/2016/05/03/sonnet-from-a-derelict-house-and-other-poems-by-daniel-marshall/
